Americans For the Arts
Their goals are achieved in partnership with local, state, and national arts organizations; government agencies; business leaders; individual philanthropists; educators; and funders throughout the country. Americans for the Arts provides extensive arts-industry research and professional development opportunities for community arts leaders via specialized programs and services, including a content-rich website and an annual national convention. Local arts agencies throughout the United States comprise Americans for the Arts’ core constituency. A variety of unique partner networks with particular interests such as public art, united arts fundraising, arts education, and emerging arts leaders are also supported.

Dade Art Educators Association
The Dade Art Educators Association, Inc. (DAEA) is an organization committed to promoting, advocating and enriching the lives of our members through the arts in the Miami-Dade County region. The DAEA advocate through unity, service, and professionalism. The association has a membership of public and private school K-12 art educators, museum educators, arts advocates, and university personnel. Dade Art Educators Association
sponsors a variety of District approved Professional Development Workshops,
annual juried exhibitions of work created by its members and gives scholarships to
recognize students at all District-Wide Exhibitions.

Florida Art Education Association
Founded in 1952, the Florida Art Education Association (FAEA) is a professional organization for visual arts educators, administrators and museum professionals. Members are provided professional development, advancement of knowledge and leadership through a variety of means, such as publications, exhibition opportunities, and collaborations with arts advocacy organizations throughout Florida. A conference is planned annually in geographically diverse regions of the state to assist members in becoming familiar with cultural institutions and educational systems beyond their own. www.faea.org

National Art Education Association
Founded in 1947, the purpose of the National Art Education Association (NAEA) is to promote art education through professional development, service, advancement of knowledge, and leadership. Membership includes art teachers, classroom teachers, college and university art personnel, art supervisors, museum art educators, and others concerned with quality in the visual arts. The Association holds public discussions and publishes an extensive catalog of professional materials. www.naea-reston.org
