Cultural Passport

Secondary Experiences

All secondary grades throughout Miami-Dade County Public Schools are eligible for free Cultural Passport field experiences. Teachers of any discipline may apply for a Class Pass to provide their class with a cultural field experience. Class Passes include student and teacher admission fees and bus transportation at no cost to the school, teacher, or students. Funding for temporary instructors will not be provided.

NOTE: All grade 7 students will be scheduled to attend a special live STEAM-based performance called Kitty Hawk. These performances will take place at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. In an effort to ensure that as many M-DCPS students as possible participate in a Cultural Passport field experience, 7th grade teachers will not be eligible to apply for any field experiences othe thanKitty Hawk.

Teachers may combine several classes into a single Class Pass application by including the total number of students and the names of the teachers whose classes are participating. Please be sure that only one application is being submitted on behalf of a group of students in these instances.

As there are a limited number of Class Passes available, not all field experience requests will be possible. You will be notified by email of the outcome of your request and given further instructions.
