How to Participate
Visual Art Teachers, K-5 are offered and informed of the program via Dade Schools email in the beginning of the school year. Schools are selected on a first replied, first served basis and according to what schools have recently participated in the program. Eight schools per year are selected to participate. Once communication has been established teachers are informed to fill out an on line school site survey to better inform the Art Technology Instructor of available facilities and requested day for instruction. Upon the receipt of this survey further arragments will be made to meet with Teachers, Principals and school site IT persons. The program takes place for one full day, following the school site art class schedule for approximatly twelve weeks on the same day with the same students. No computers are necessary as iPads with be provided.
